THE ARGUMENT FOR STRENGTH
What’s the point of working out? Some will say it’s to look better. Some will say it’s to be more attractive to the opposite sex. Others will say it’s to keep your body healthy so you live longer. Still others will say it’s for improved mental health.
While all of these things are true, for me they are byproducts, results if you will. The purpose of working out and building strength is actually much deeper than any of its effects. I want to be clear, I’m not talking about building discipline, mental fortitude, or perseverance. While these are also true, they’re still not a completely accurate description of the purpose.
